About Peter Zeller
A resident of Charlotte, NC, Peter Zeller is a director of strategic sourcing and indirect procurement global business partner at Honeywell International Inc. In this role, he has acquired $250 million in capital equipment and capital expansion services and overseen multiple high-performing teams. Along with his corporate career, Peter Zeller of Charlotte, NC, maintains active membership in the United States Navy Reserve.
In 2019, Mr. Zeller became the commanding officer of the NR Fifth Fleet/Naval Central Command Plans/TSCP Unit. Earlier in his military career, he served as company commander of Alpha Company Coastal Riverine Squadron 10 in Florida, and as deputy commander of the US Navy Task Group 68.6 in Africa. In recognition of his service in Afghanistan, he received the Bronze Star and the US Army Combat Action Badge.
Mr. Zeller holds a bachelor of science in engineering physics with a minor in naval science from Miami University, Ohio, a master of business administration from Louisiana State University, and a Master of Arts in military history from Norwich University. An adjunct associate professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, he teaches courses on topics such as military science, World War 1, World War 2, the US Civil War, and other military history courses.Education
